What is the difference in a 64 and a 94 Winchester

one thing is straight stock VS pistol grip stock the 94 for the MOST part have straight grip butt stock. 0 -
The leaver is different also. Maybe the forend wood has a little different contour as well. 0 -
There are a fair number of differences; (1) the barrel length, (2) the barrel contour, (3) the forend stock design & shape, (4) the butt stock design & shape, (5) the butt plate type, (6) the lever, (7) barrel band versus a nose cap on forend stock, (8) different type rear sight, and (9) the magazine tube length.
The pictures below should make it real clear. The Model 94 is a Deluxe, and the Model 64 is a Deer Rifle (deluxe variation).

When was it made, and by whom (Winchester or the U.S. Repeating Arms Co.)? Winchester stopped making guns in late 1980.
If you gun was made after 1980, the NRA commissioned U.S.R.A.Co. to make them as a special order item.
Both of the guns I posted pictures of are pre-1964 manufacture. Winchester discontinued the Model 64 in 1958.0 -
It was made in 1972 so I guess that makes it a 94. 0
