1970 Browning BLR magazine
Can anyone tell me a source for a magazine to fit my 1970 Browning Belgium lever action in .243. I know a mag in .308 will fit too. I have checked Brownell's, Midwest USA, Midwest guns and no luck with any local gunshops. I even checked the online auctions at Gunbroker too. This rifle was handed down from my late father in law and I know he would appreciate me taking care of it.
Everyone has the ones for the lightning. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They show up occasionally. If you can't find one on the auction side try Joe Lowe he might have one or know where to get one. He's come up with hard to find mags for me before.

Thanks for the head's up. I'll check it out tonight. I feel like I'm trying to find a needle in a haystack. With the amount of Browning fans there are, you'd think someone would have those items in stock. 0 -

Tough magazine to find. One sold here at auction. Number 127831757 Went for $220.00, there were 27 bids. marstar.ca had some afew years back. 0 -
Your best bet is to go to gun shows and check on sellers that are disposing of their odd ball stuff. The regular sellers know which ones are rare and bring more $$$.
I found one in a box of miscellaneous parts 4 months ago at a show and got it for $30. That sale made both of us happy!0 -
Thanks again for the help...I think? It floors me to see what those things can go for. Oh well, just have to deal with what's there. I'll have to keep checkin out the gun shows. I just attended one and none but I'll keep looking. 0
