Remington 870 youth barrels

Guys,
Does anyone know if the Rem 870 Youth 20 gauge barrel is any different than a standard Rem 870 20 gauge barrel? Are they interchangeable?

  I think it is just a differance in length. If that is the case than you should be able to interchange them. I used to have a standard 870 a few years ago. It was a great gun, wish I never sold it.

  My 80's 870 LW wingmaster barrel will go on my sons newer 870 express and visa-versa.
  Couldn't find and shorter barrel for his turkey(870 express magnum 26" barrel) gun so I had to buy a new one with short(21") barrel and swap them, but I tried the wing master on the express receiver and it fit.
