PUMA 22lr 50 round drum loading

No instructions on how to load these drums - There is a loading tool, and once I know how to get this going I will probably feel foolish ... There are 3 "dummy" rounds that are in the rotor as is indicated in the nomenclature on the Legacy site, and are visible taking the back of the drum cap off. It is obviously spring loaded, but I am missing something .... I assume the "dummy rounds" stay?

  I don't know that exact drum
  
  But I take it those rounds are interconnected - but I guess, yes, they stay in the mag.
  The magazine most likely have the spring in the main body of the magazine - and not in the part of the magazine that is inserted into the gun.
  
  
  But would the loadingtool fit into the center of the main body/drum.?
  It could also be an opening somewhere, that you put the tool in and moved the carrier just enough to load one round.
