NEED INFO MARLIN 25/20 #27S

I have a Marlin 25/20 #27 pump ser.# 1275 and need to find out when it was made and what value it might have.
Over all length is 37" barrel length of 16".

    Made 1920 -1932 but it looks like someone cut the barrel off[V][:(!] should be 24 inch barrel I might have an extra original barrel original 27 was octagon barrel 27-S round barrel.

    Thanks for the info. I was afraid that the barrel have been cut. This gun has the octagon barrel. Ser# 1275.
    What would a barrel cost for it?

    I will have to find the barrel it has been years since I had it. I cant remember if it was 25-20 or 32-20 I think my rifle was originallly 25-20 and I wanted to change to 32-20 to shoot in cowboy matches as you needed lead bullets and you can't buy 25-20 except jacketed loads but then I found out the marlin 27 was not legal in SASS shoots[:(][:(!] so I sold the gun It may take me some time to go through my STASH of parts.

    Karl/ perry shooter is correct on the barrel length.
    It is 24 inches. I am holding a 27-S now. It has an octagon
    barrel and is completley original. The 27-S was available in
    both a round barrel and octagon. I am only guessing that the
    threads are the same. Mine is in .32/20 and has a 2/3 magazine.
