Need a new 9MM

Good morning all, I am looking for a 9MM compact handgun for CCW with an all steel frame. The Ruger P series looks good, but I like to keep my options open and turn to you guys and gals for additional suggestions while I am in my shopping phase. Thanks.

    While the ruger p series is certainly a reliable firearm, it strikes me as neither compact or all steel framed.
    If I were hunting another compact 9mm , the bersa the kel tec p11 and kel tec's newer 9mm is where I'd be looking.
    Those to me are "compact"

    Why are you restricting yourself to all steel? Lots of carry guns with polymer frame that will make it easier to carry, lighter weight. The Kahr P9 would be a great, compact carry weapon.

    And the Ruger SR-9 certainly deserves a look, I know several guys that love theirs, and they are compact.

    I agree for concealed carry you are usually looking for small and light. There are better choices then steel for that.

    I got a S&W M&Pc in 9mm this spring and has easily become my favorite compact gun which is amazing cause I dont like compact guns. The reason I like this gun is it fits ME, plus it is light, small, easy to carry, mild recoil, accurate, fun.

    Here it is compared to a Glock 34 and a 1911

    If you need a all steel 9mm, look at the Kahr K-9,s. I carry the P-9 for lighter weight. Have owned two K-9,s and they shoot very good, and are compact. With my IWB Kramer, you can't tell I'm carring under a T-shirt.

    i carry a PM9 for deep concealment.
    I've been carrying the sprigfield EMP9 alot lately, fantastic gun if you want a metal compact 1911 platform.

    I sure like my CZ 75. It is available in a compact model. There is a reason the CZ 75 is used by more law enforement world wide than any other weapon. Except for USA. It is a very reliable weapon and it is all steel except grips of course.
