Winchester 94AE
Will the barrel, magazine tube, and forearm from a Legacy fit on a 94AE? I really don't care for the cross bolt safty on the newer rifles.

Were all the 94AEs drilled and tapped for a scope before they left the factory?
I have a Contender 7-30 Waters and am considering purchasing a 94AE XTR in 7-30 Waters, but I do not want to make the mistake of reducing collector value by buying one it it was drilled and taped after it left the factory.

Hi, Rudy. Apparently, this was a special run by US Repeating Arms of which they made 350 Hickok commemoratives, numbered WBH1-350. Here's the description of one that sold on Gunbroker back in April, 2009:
This is a Winchester Model 94 AE 45 Colt. 350 made and this is #350, the last one made. This gun has never been shot. Comes with paperwork and box as seen in pictures. This is a hand-engraved nickel receiver engraved by Giovanelli of Italy. Blueing on 20-inch barrel is perfect with a great bore. Has the large loop. Stamped underneath the receiver is WBH350. Winchester is written with engraving on the tang. This gun has beautiful wood with no handling marks. Original butt plate. Standard length of pull. This gun is a real beauty and the last Wild Bill Hickok Commemerative to be made. A very low starting bid with no reserve.
It was unfired, Serial #WBH350 (the last one made), new in the box with all paperwork and sold for $2,126. Unfortunately, without the box & paperwork, value is considerably less than that. As with any commemorative, you have to find the right buyer and most collectors want them as-issued, untouched and with all paperwork & box.0 -

Mine is exactly like that one stamped WBH218 and you're right, they're beautiful rifles. I'm headed to the Saxet Gun Show in Pharr, Tx tomorrow and you never know, I might find some interest even without the box and paper work.
