Glock 23
Have a chanch to purchase a Glock 23, two 13 rd. mags, been fired so little that there is no sign of wear on any moveing parts. 40 cal. $450.00 --- is it a good deal or should I keep looking?

I just bought a Glock 23 and love it.
There is a company {FAC] offering extended, ported barrels for semi auntomatic pistols.
They offer one for the Glock 23.
Any of you have experience with this product or comments?

most likely what you are hearing is the firing pin moving in the firing pin channel...its not under any tension when the trigger is pressed to the rear, and not reset
there is nothing wrong with the firing pin moving in such a manner....that is actually one of the function tests on a Glock
everytime you break down your Glock to clean, when you reassemble it...function test it...
1. ensure gun is unloaded,
2. pull slide to the rear and release
3. pull the trigger, you should feel and hear the trigger and firing pin click, as the firing pin releases and moves forward
4. keeping the trigger depressed, pull the slide to the rear and release it forward.
5. ease off the trigger, it should move forward and click as it resets
That checks to make sure your firing mech is working and your trigger reset is functioning properly

Yeah,
The uncocked firing pin assembly is free to move. . .the cocked one is under spring tension and isn't.
I don't make a habit of shaking Glocks, but I suspect that's normal for this gun.
So long as it goes "bang" everytime, I wouldn't worry about it.0
