1187 sp

A friend of mine bought an 1187 sp 3.5" Remington. He has had to send it back to the factory twice. Once it dropped parts out of the action after shooting after at a goose and another time the stock cracked after shooting. My question is has anyone else had any trouble out of these.

  what is the diffrence in the 1187 sp barrels compared to a standard 1187 barrel. i dont see any diffrence other than finish. they both seem to interchange with the other.
