How do I remove the bolt from this rifle. Is there a site I can use to download a owners manual?

  Theres no Stevens model 34 listed in my reference, but there is a centerfire Model 340, is this the rifle your inquiring about?

  The rifle I have is stamped Stevens - Savage Arms, Westfield, Mass USA
  .22 short,long or long rifle. MODEL 34 Ser# 1232XXX. Blued barrel
  and receiver, wood stock. 5 shot clip. Looks like you might have to
  drive out pins to remove the bolt.
  Any thoughts would be appreciated.

  http://www.e-gunparts.com/ I think you have to take the trigger housing off.

  Not positive about your gun but every Steven bolt gun I have all you do is open the bolt, hold the triger back, and the bolt slides right out the back.
