Colt SAA...??????

I have a 1st edition ser # 327824. What is the aprox date of manufacture?

I have found the first editions go to ser# 357,859 and that is up to 1940. If that is correct.

  Should be near the end of 1913.

  It appears to have a new trigger and hammer. I state this as they are both black as opposed to the nickel frame. The grips (original) are very worn from much use. The horse is barely discernable. Sure wish this old boy could talk.

  Yep, even the Single Actions that show little use were probably worn in some pretty treacherous places; especially underneath coats in some pretty tough bars. Yes sir, if only they could talk!!!!
