Oil Finish on a Laminated Stock

I have a few new/unfinished laminated stocks. I was thinking on using a spray lacquor that I use in restoring old oak tool chests. I'm thinking now of trying an oil finish on some. Is there any reason to worry that the oil might cause delamination?

  Shouldn't be a problem.
  I'd tackle it without reservation unless someone could convince me otherwise.

  I've seen oil finishes on laminated stocks before, and even done one myself.
  
  Should pose no problem whatsoever.
  
  In manufacture, the thin laminated layers of wood are epoxied together and squeezed under super high pressure.
  
  There's no way that a finish you stick on the surface is going to cause delamination, certainly not a common wood oil finish.

  +1, I have refinshed a laminated stock with oil no problem, wood is wood.
