Browning BAR Removing trigger housing??

I have a Belgium Browning BAR 243 Cal. Ser# 157PR22XXX.
This rifle does not have any trigger Guard pins in the receiver.!!??
So how does a Guy remove the trigger assembly for cleaning? I guess remove the stock??

  you need to remove the butt stock, tilt the alum. plate forward and up. the trigger assy will slide rearward, you then reach in from the front and depress the hammer to clear the alum. stock plate.

  Anyone have any pointers on getting the trigger housing out of the reciever?? I am having a hard time manipulating The plate on the back of the reciever.

  the plate has to go forward (90 deg. rotation) and 'up' the older ones can be very tight.
