Appraisal on these S.W.

I have these four (4) S&W revolvers 2 or 3 person`s want to buy them
but I don`t what they are worth?All have correct box and all.Thanks

    Model 10's and 36's are more common than the model 30 & 34 so would probably bring less.

    Assuming the timing and lock up are good on all of these guns. I would estimate IMHO: Your mileage may vary.

    Model 10...... $300 to $400
    Model 30...... $300 to $500
    Model 34...... $300 to $450
    Model 36...... $250 to $350

    With the condition of the guns the prices may be higher than you think. $ 500 to 700 retail.

    Prices for S&Ws with boxes and papers in 99% are up quite a bit over the past year or so. I'm seeing these priced at gun shows in the $500 range; more for the 34. Don't really like these prices and have been telling folks they're too high. . .as I watch guns I wanted go out the door with other buyers. I looked at a Model 10 (two inch) with box and papers today priced at $545; tried to buy it for less but seller was firm. Maybe prices will drop back when the Obama scare recedes but right now that seems to be the price range. Just bought a Model 60 (with box & papers) last week for $485; whined about it but bought it anyway.

    Didn't anyone notice the special serial numbers?

    It's believed that these guns were made for someone special, but no one has documented who that was. There is no history of public sale of these guns, & it's possible that they might bring a premium ---- maybe even a substantial premium.

    Before you do anything else, pay someone to take high quality photos of them, since you do not have the camera or the skill to do so. (Many wedding photographers also do "studio" work.) I believe that you will recoup the investment.

    I'd send the photos to Richard Nahas, author of the Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson (JET53SW@aol.com). He is interested in unusual S&W's, & may be able to suggest the best way to sell them.
