Savage .32 cal auto pistol
I'm not sure of Serial#. I'm looking for the dates these were manufactured through and the value. I know it was worn by an MP as a service sidearm 50 years ago.

Savage made some great pocket pistols most are either model 1910 and 1917 with many various small changes as to each model .The serial number is most likely on the frame just where the barrel goes into the grip frame and are somewhat collectable in their own right . I don't want to rain on your parade but the person you got the pistol could very well have been an MP. But as far as I know the Savage was NEVER worn as a service issue sidearm. 0 -
I think the Portugese military bought some Savage autos to supplement their Lugers. 0
