recommended muzzleloader?
recommended not-too-expensive basic muzzleloader? inline not traditional, for deer, 50 cal, convenient to use and clean, accurate and reliable, decent trigger, easy to mount a scope.
i asked this question a couple years ago and got a lot of knight recommendations. but heard knight is shutting down now, maybe will be hard to get parts?
anyhow i got a CVA Wolf for $119 and have been quite happy. but online reviews are mixed. now a friend is looking for a muzzleloader and i'm not really up to date.
so what do you recommend?

Have him get a Knight Wolverine.
Here is one NIB for $145, if you dig around you may find one cheaper than that.

This is one of the great classic inlines. It is a $275 rifle, but they quit making them a few years ago, this is a closeout sale.
This rifle has an adjustable trigger and a very accurate Green Mountain barrel.
Yes it is auf Wiedersehen for the Knight company, but you probably won't need any parts for this rifle.
I would suggest that you get a couple hundred of the orange plastic discs, you can't load the primer without them.
I am pretty sure the discs are re-usable.0
