Belgium Made Colt replica
I asked about this in an post about a month ago and received some really great feedback. This was the pistol marked for .38 L. Colt or .38 S & W special. Just reporting back on continued research and experiments.
Belgium made and extremely fine machine work. Took the grips off and duct taped to a fence post, fired six .38+P with a lanyard, hearing protection and safety glasses. No problems. Fired several additional rounds of .38 special by hand finding the pistol to be extremely accurate.
I am a previous competitive shooter, veteran, law enforcement and CHL licensee in my state and this pistol is very accurate.
This lead me to investigate the apparently deep grooved rifling. This weekend I will chronograph it against some other pistols in .38 special to see if this rifling makes a difference.
