Colt Lightning worth?

I'm new to the forum & was wondering if someone could give me their opinion.
I recently purchased a M1877 Colt Lightning revolver, mfg 1901,good condition, works in double and single action however the half cock doesn't work.
All markings are there although the Colt behind the patent dates and the barrel address are light.
If the gun was refinished it was long ago because the finish is uneven,worn in the appropriate spots and matching in light grey patina.
My problem is that the frame serial # is 124480 and the trigger guard, grip strap and cylinder are all 124580. I was told the gun was all matching before purchase.
I paid $530 including shipping.
Do you think the 1 digit being off makes the gun worth less than $530? Should I ask to return the gun?

without seeing the pistol I suspect the gun is as shipped . while technically it is not matching I believe it is a factory error . I ak what is the chance someone would lose or destroy the right number piece and find a replacement with all the numbers except one the same and that one one number off. I bet the serial number stamped "slipped" might loose vale in some peoples eye but I for one would sort of like to have the pistol [^] If you return the gun would you let us know so I could find it if the seller relist it Thanks 0 -
The give away on refinished SAA and Lightnings is the joints between frame and trigger guard and frame and backstrap.
There should be no rounding of the edges of these parts at the joints on unrefinished guns.0 -

The edges you mentioned look sharp & not rounded so the probability is the gun has much of its original finish.

Norm Flayderman in his "Guide to Antique American Firearms and Their Values" notes that such transposed numbers are not unusual, and that except for a handful of purist collects value is not effected.
