I'd like to know about peoples experiences in using the hydraulic buffer in their ARs...

    Bushmaster offers them on their website under upper receiver parts....they put them standard in their full auto guns...


    well I ordered one the other day so I guess I'll see if its worth the money or not!

    what configuration is the rifle you intend to put it on, what optic, if any do you have on it.. Every little bit counts if you are useing a magnified scope in my opinion.







    I think they where intended to act as rate reducers for full auto Ar-15s.

    side benefits include reduced recoil, reduced wear, stops bolt bounce and less muzzle movement with semi auto rifles.. This is supposed to be amplified when installed in short barreled rifles.

    anything that slows bolt unlocktime is a good thing with car length gas guns.

    Recoil is a little softer which causes the gun to be more controlable, I dont know how much they save on wear and tear.
