Thompson sight

Friend of mine wants to sell his Thompson scope. 2x7. It is an all in one scope with mount with a bottom to the scope that has grooves cut into it. How does something like this mount up?

  Uses a lobo style mount that contender made,use them on some of my contenders.tks hedge[:D]
