I have recently been given a remington model 1100 16 ga. shot gun. Can any one tell me what this gun may be worth?

Depends on exactly what model, the condition, & what comes with it. Photos might help.

That would be 1776-1976.

What is the condition? Condition has a huge influence on value, probably more so than being a bicentenial instant collectable.

If you can post good clear photos, that would be very helpful. Otherwise we would be guessing, and you might as well pin dollar figures on the wall and throw darts.

Buddy bought one about 6 months ago for $575, I've seen them as high as $800. Book says 100% trap or skeet-$450.
