marlin side mount 5510 bolt action shotgun

I have a marlin 5510-10 ga-bolt action that was drilled and tapped,for side mount,it has 6 screw holes.Compared this to my weaver side mount base -4 holes -on my marlin 512 slugmaster,Any ideas what kind of base I need to get to fit this.. This was a gunsmith job.

  first two holes were mistakes?? i do not want to be looking in a scope when i shoot mine

  no I dont think so , definitely a base with 6 holes , the 2 middle holes are wider apart than the 2 on either side,,maybe older base??
