rebore question

I have an old 1873 Win in 38 WCF that needs a barrel. I have a 32 WCF barrel (bad bore but good outside) that i would like to open up to accept a liner in either 38 or 44 WCF. I can make a piloted drill bit to do this drilling and lining myself (have done it), but that got me thinking....why not just send this 32 cal. barrel out to someone to rebore to 38 or 44 WCF. There was a post recently on reboring but that pertained to modern calibers/barrels. Is there anybody out there reboring old barrels in the old cartridges? Do they put any markings on them? I want to keep it all looking original, not to deceive anyone (a fresh mint bore on these old patina'ed guns would be a dead giveaway anyhow..) but because looks are very important to me with these older guns.

    I had a '92 relined by Redman. He also does reboring.

    Delta Gun Shop in Washilngton. He can rebore the barrel. Turnbull Restoration in New York can properly remark the barrel.

    Redmans wont rebore to 38 or 44 WCF. I do use their liners, but a rebore with them is not possible. Thanks though. SP45, I am going to call Delta today...thanks. As far as remarking, all I have to do if I go 38 WCF is change the 2 in 32 WCF to and 8. I have access to several CNC mills where I can cut the small number myself.
