removing coating??

5.7x28 brass has some kind of coating on it which helps it work in autos, but is a pain in the b... for my 5x28MM custom bolt action. Is there an easy way to remove the coating...I have tired several solvents and cleaner and none of them works easily and quickly.

  If you have access to a vapor blaster, ( plastic beads ), it would be the easiest and quickest way. Check with Harbor Freight, they were selling them inexpensively in one of the last catalogs I got.
