is it a trick to put the mag release back in,mine came out and when i put it back in it falls out every time you push it to realese a mag

There should be a spring that goes in there.

Why did you even take it out to start with?

5.4 is the spring. From your description that is what your looking at. Look at the mag catch (5.3) and see if it' been damaged.

If it's not catching on it that's your problem.

nothing seems damaged the spring might be bent a little to the left ,i just may not be putting it in right
