Savage Model 24C series P

Does anyone out there know what the different designations mean such as Series P versus Series S versus Series M etc.?

  Numrich has a seperate listing for each parts list for the different letter number of the 24, if you want to take the time to look at the differnt parts list you may be able to figer out the difference. I hope someone comes along with a more direct answer to your question.

  The s series is a side lever to open the breach on all i have seen.tks hedge[:D]
