S&W 657 .41 mag approximate year of manufacure

I was just given a S & W 657 .41 mag SS with wood grips, target hammer and trigger with a 4 inch barrel. Serial number is AUW-3577. Anybody got a clue on the year of manufacture. Thanks in advance

  Looks like it was made in late 1986 to early 1987.

  Thanks dcs. I tried to find a list of smith and wesson serial numbers published on line but to no success. This gun looks like it has never been fired, absolutely no scratches on the grips, one minor scratch on the frame. A client of mine got the gun from a local widow who has had it for at least 15 years in a safe. The 86/87 manufacture dates fits with her story. Thanks again.
