was there ever a 25acp revolver?

Someone I know just called asking if there has ever been a 25 revolver? He has a friend that says one was stolen from his house. I've never heard of one....but there is a lot out there I have never heard of. Any clue what it might be?

    They mostly were made in Belgium and possibly some from Spain in the early years of the 20th Century.

    They looked like this one in the photo, only this one is considerably larger, as it's chambered for the .22 Velodog cartridge which is longer then the .25 auto.

    If you can find a copy of "Arms of the World-1911", reprint of the ALFA catalog,pgs. 148-150 have many illustrations. I have one trademarked "Arminius". They also made them in 7.65. Terry

    WOW!!!! You guys are awesome! I thought the guy was crazy....but now I think this is what he was asking me about.

    His friend is not a "gun person" but had this thing....can't say what it was. He recently realized it was missing and is asking his "gun buddy" what it was??? That is when I got the call... He had never heard of a 25acp revolver and started trying to find out if there ever had been one.

    Now, at least, we have something to go by and help this guy

    Plus.....I learned something new (and they said it couldn't be done!)
