my first picture post???

i hope this turns out ok, it`s my first attempt at posting a picture[B)]

this is me and my old broomhandle mauser.
i bought the stock from the auction side. it was my first purchase there[:)]

sorry for posting in ask the experts, but this is where the instructions were on how to post them[:o)]

    Well, 2 hints for the future:

    1) Your photo would be too small for most purposes; you might want to resize it with the software on your computer to 800 x 600, or something close to that.

    2) It's not necessary to actually make a posting to see if what you are doing will work. Instead of hitting "Post" button, press the "Preview" button; what appears after that is exactly what we will see. If it doesn't look right, just cancel it.

    thanks for the advice.

    i reckon it took me over an hour to work out how to do it....thank god for wives who know one end of a computer from the other[;)]

    Very Good! See if your digital camera has the larger size available. Then you don't have to re-size. One more thing, when posting (the larger pictures) stack them vertically on this forum by hitting the return (enter key? on the right) twice before you place the next photo. It will allow for vertical stacking, and a nice white border between photos. Best, Joe

    i`m glad it worked ok, and i`ll try to get them to post a bit bigger next time.

    joe, thats a good tip to post each one below the other, i wouldn`t have thought to do that[:(] i originally had it posting bigger, but when i clicked preview it took up all the page so i thought it would be too big, it shouldn`t take much to get the size right...i hope anyway.

    tom, yep, thats the stock i got here off the auctions, it`s a perfect fit, i couldn`t be happier with it! and i`ll sure post a few pics of the luger when i get it. if i have to go to my dealers house again i`ll take the camera along. it is in amazing condition! i swear it has hardly been out of it`s original holster very much! the previous owner apparently shot it a couple of times and it lived in a safe ever since then...what a waste! no good having them if you don`t shoot them[}:)] and it`s got two of the wooden base magazines for it..apparently they were issued with it.
