    I believe that the NY PD ordered and issued 6". Which were recalled back in because the city went to Glocks. Not all were issued. 12yrs ago?

    If memory serves, I recall this revolver may have been a special production for some gov't agency-possibly the Postal Inspection Service. I've seen these advertised in flyers from wholesalers who deal in gov't surplus. The only downside is holster fitment issues.

    i own two ruger sp101's snub nose's. the sp101's will fit exact in holsters designed for the j-frame smith and wessons. not sure about which will fit the gp-100's as i have never owned one. good luck bidding. best!
