Eldorado Single Six 44 mag.

I have an Eldorado Single action revolver in 44 mag 7.5" barrel. I am the original owner purchased in 1981. This is number 112 of 4500 produced by Eldoardo Arms of hauppauge NY.This is in blue finish most were nickle or stainless. Excellent condition approx. 800 rounds out of it in 28 yrs. Gun features 17-4 steel frame, tranfer bar safety, and a super light trigger pull, approx 1lb.
My question is can I expect to get the $1000 I am asking for in my selling ad at {elsewhere} online.
Thanks in advance for any help on this as I am a newbie here.

  IMHO, the way things are in the toilet, economy wise now. I don't see any kind of a "shooter" handgun getting that kind of money. If it was NIB with all original accessories and paperwork, you might hit it lucky and find a collector who just had to have it.

  You may be expecting too much, but who knows what it will bring. You may be surprised. Regardless, you will know very soon. I've bought Sevilles and El Dorados for $500 and less in the past 3 years. I consider the El Dorado worth about $750-$850 in 95% or better condition. They are a high quality handgun and are actively sought by many collectors.
