I have this which was handed down to me and am having a hard time figuring out exactly what model it is, and the approx. value.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Looks like a S&W Model No 1 1/2 Single Action Revolver, early version without strain screw, Flayderman 5G-032.
  .32 S&W caliber
  97,574 made from 1878 - 1892.
  
  I won't guess a dollar value, check closed auctions.
