m1 garand muzzle break
Has anyone had any experience with a Smith Enterprise muzzle break on their m1 garands or tankers garand? Does it really cut down on noise. Any thaughts on adjustable gas plugs, is one better than the other? I asked this same question on general forum but 0 replies, so thaoght I'd ask here. John

You won't get any reduction in noise, in fact it is going to make the rifle louder to the point that the people shoooting next to you will be uncomfortable. The Schuster adjustable gas plugs work fine and are service rifle legal for CMP matches.0 -
I had Dillon's version on my '06 Garand, then put it on my son's .308 Garand. Big difference in recoil on both rifles, also a big difference in muzzle blast and noise, you don't want to be sitting at the next bench. 0 -
