chambered in .22 short, guy wants 100 dollars, says it functions flawlessly. And that the mag is in excellent condition.

Caine29, you will need good pictures of your gun, both sides. Good pictures of all markings. Serial number if there is one. Or no one can judge it's condition to give an approximate value.

The real Pony Express only ran in 1860 and 1861, 12 years before the first Colt .45 came out.

True, there have been armed postal workers since then, but it wasn't the Pony Express.
