Rem 870 and Hastings barrel
Currently I have a rifled Hastings 12 ga. barrel on my Rem 870 Super Express. Can this Hastings barrel also be used on a Rem 870 Express? The Super Express is capable of digesting 3 1/2 inch shells, while the Express digests up to 3 inch shells. At this time I do not own an 870 Express, but I am considering buying one if the Hastings barrel can be used on it. If so, I could then mount the original Super Express shot barrel on the the Express.
Another technical question in this regard. Can the Hastings barrel be used on the Remington 1187 semi-auto shotgun? Thanks a lot, in advance.

I stopped in at a local gun shop and got the answer to this question. A Hastings barrel that fits a Rem 870 Super Express will also fit a Rem 870 Express. I will not, however, fit on a Rem 1187 semi-auto. 0 -
