what is this english pub rifle ???

this rifle has been in the family for years some one said that is a pub rifle that was shot in pubs in England .. is it. i guess it was used like darts games.is this a good thing babes guns and pints in a closed area !!! approx 25 cal .. Belgium in front of the loader.

    It's called a "Flobert" and they shot cb or bb caps for indoor target games. Google that name and you'll find a lot of information.

    Yours has the Warnant action, as opposed to the original Flobert that used only the hammer as a breechblock.

    From reply to a similar question: "Warnant, a Belgium, invented a breech block that could be used on Flobert type guns but which would allow use of a more powerful cartridge. That is the system used on the gun in question. The arms of the breechblock are screwed to the barrel and I have seen them with screws broken or so badly worn they will fall out if the rifle is turned over. Even though the Warnant system will allow the use of more powerful cartriges than the original Flobert system, it is still quite weak, and I strongly recommend against firing one"
