Not a great quality photo but I tried.
On America Remembers' website they currently advertise a Texas Ranger Tribute revolver, one of 300, made by Uberti. How is it I have a Colt and WIW?

I have #77 of that series and it sure looks to be made by Colt. Anyone happen to know if they switched manufacturers mid-production? If so, why? Would there be a difference in value?

I suggest you contact Cherry's fine guns in Greensboro. N.C. atone time he was a very big dealer in special issue Colts And Winchesters. . COULD you post a close/-up of the serial number and any inspector /proof marks. You might have a Colt barrel on a Uberti frame. 0 -
As far as the feds are concerned the frame/receiver is the firearm. Doesn't matter what markings are on the barrel. As PS suggests post quality close-up photos of the markings on the frame/receiver, that will answer your question on who actually manufactured your revolver. 0 -
In 1970 Colt produced a Texas Ranger commemortive in several different grades. You may have one of those.

What you have is a Uberti made gun that was plated and engraved by "A&E Engraving" They are no longer in Rapid City SD. Do a google for them for more info. A&E did lots of this kind of work with several different guns for many different causes. 0 -

Those are Colt "Cowboy" markings, not SAA. 0 -

Yes, it says COLT COWBOY 45 COLT on the barrel.0
