Ruger Security Six

can anyone tell me how to remove cyclinder from crane pivot assembly ? a drawing would help or if you can lead to me where they show a video would be nice. I got my all the way down to the cyclinder being on the crane pivot and cant get it off.

    Condition will determine whether it's good for the buyer, or only the seller!

    Might be high for a well worn blued model, a very good deal for a stainless in very good to excellent condition. In general the Security Six is a great revolver. Never should have sold mine.

    $300 is top dollar even for a stainless one.

    ktownman....$300 is about right for a blue RSS, a bit more ($50 or so)for SSteel, and a bit more for box and papers. Would not let mine go for any less than $400 (has box and papers)if I was going to let it go...and I am not. One great pistol. Great shooting!

    Think I paid $350 for a stainless Security Six snubby 357 with adjustable sightes last year sometime. Nice gun. I'd I like to get a couple more of them.
