Forehand Arms

I got one for ya; I'm looking for schematics on a forehand arms single shot, hammer shotgun,patent 1885..........anyone, I'll have more info when I get it, thanks

    I have a Forehand Arms 12gauge side by side with 24inch barrels and some very nice wood, gun is fairly clean and sharp looking with engravings and has the number 3130 on the trigger guard tang and under the forearm, I can't find any information on this gun, the few forehand pieces out there seem to have been inexpensive and unremarkable but this shotgun may have been a special order or something, does anyone know anything about forehand double barrel's that might help me out

    Forehand shotguns were made for only a very limited time during the 1890's, perhaps as late as 1900? When the owner S. Forehand died, the company was sold to another firearms manufacturer who continued making the shotguns under a different name.

    The older U.S.? made doubles of that era were sold with different grades, i.e. the more money you paid the nicer quality shotgun you got.

    Unless you are able to find a collector who is interested in old U.S. made doubles, there is little collector demand/value for them that I'm aware of.
