converting fixed choke to screw-in

Does anyone have expereince with the feasibility and cost of converting a fixed choke over/under to an adjustable choke set-up? NOT a polychoke, and invectorplus type arrangement. thanks

  THere are a few companies that will do this - plan on around $150 per barrel. Also, your barrel has to be thick enough to support it.
  
  If this is a single barrel gun, it may be cheaper to buy a new barrel already set up for screw in chokes.

  I have had some done by Carlson. choketube.com I am very pleased with their work. I don't think they do Invector Plus. You may want to think about what you use the gun for and have just one barrel reamed and threaded for screw in chokes and leave one alone.

  Another vote for Briley...have had several guns done by them including two thin walled barrels on older Winchester Model 12's and the work was excellent. Their customer service department can advise you very well on what can be done with your induvidual barrel.
