Ammunition Question

Hey Guy's I had a couple of quick ammo questions, I was looking possibly buying a case of good brass ammo. The place I've been looking has several different options. The ammo I was looking at is 223 Rem 62 gr. AP Penetrator. Currently they don't have any of the standard 223 Rem 62 gr. FMJ in stock, I was looking at the prices and was a little confused, the Stanard 223 Rem 62 gr. FMJ is actually more expensive then the AP Penetrator ammo.

I was under the impression that the Penetrator was better ammunition, so I was curious what would cause the non-Penetrator to be more expensive? Out of curiosity is there a reason I would want to go with the standard 62 Gr FMJ instead of the AP Penetrator? Sorry if that's a bit confusing, I was just kind of curious because I've never really looked into buying anything other than standard FMJ rounds.

    Hi, Experts. Can someone tell me about a caliber called the .32 High Power Special? Is this the same as the .32 Winchester Special? If different, does any one know if it's now obsolete, and if it's still made? Would it work on wild boar at about 50-75 yards? Thanks for any and all input. Jim

    Ditto on the Indonesian manufacture. According to the Defense Intelligence Agency Small Caliber Ammunition Identification Guide, the AD stands for Angkatan Darat and the 85 is year of manufacture. I believe that "Angkatan Durat" translates to "Army Aviation Service".

    Thank you. I didn't know if I could/should shoot it in my HK-91 since it didn't have the Nato symbol on the base.
