As a followup to the concealed carry discussion,The only weapon I've been able to carry regardless of dress or location is a NAA .22 Mag. in a cell phone case. ($1 at Dollar Tree). It clips on my belt or pants and the velcro flap makes it very easy to retrieve.I leave it by my house keys so I don't forget it . It's well protected from rain or sweat and unnoticeable. Much better than pocket carry.

For myself, I wouldn't want to fight anything bigger than a 10 lb. dog with a 22. I know others disagree, but the hitting force and stopping power of a 22 leaves a lot to be desired. But it is certainly better than nothing. 0 -
Seems like too many steps for me. You've got to lift the case flap, pull out the gun, cock it, & THEN you can fire. In that caliber, my preference would be a Hi-Standard derringer in a wallet holster; lift the gun out of your pocket, & you are ready to go.
I would never feel vulnerable with a .22 mag in hand. It won't knock anyone down, put it WILL stop an assault. Even if you miss, the foot-long flame & loud blast will scare the frap out of just about any perp.

Concealed carry options are better now than they have ever been. For a start shop the NRA website you may find an option you were not aware of. Take it to the range and fire it up close. Safety first. I have gone as far as to fire my carry ammo into wet newspaper through clothing and an old down vest to see how well it feeds and expands. You may be suprised of the results. 0 -
While the .22 you've got on you is still better than the .45 at home, I still think those mini-revolvers are pretty marginal, and I'd be reluctant to carry one, except maybe as a backup.
Not only is the .22LR intrinisically weak, its even weaker when launched from these mini guns. I question the reliability of this gun to physically stop anyone without a lucky hit. (Psychologically stop them is a different matter).
Further, the single-action design with spur hammer is slow to cock and fire, and the small grip increases recoil flip. So getting multiple shots off quickly (let alone accurately) isn't easy.
Frankly, you may be better off with a stout folding knife.
If you really like the idea of carrying a loaded pistol in a cell-phone case, you can probably get away with carrying a Kel-Tec 3AT (or its clone the Ruger LCP) in a case for an I-phone, Blackberry or similar cell phone/PDA.
There is at least one commercially available holster I've seen deliberately designed for this purpose, ie a small auto holster designed to look like a cell phone/PDA belt case.
Personally, I've had my own belt clip cell phone holder fall off enough times, that I'd pretty much never consider carrying a loaded gun that way.
