Hawes single-action .44 Magnum
Saw one at (appropriately enough) Old West Gun Room today for less than $300 and really, really nice condition.
Not familiar with this brand, are they any good?

Sauer makes quality guns. The price is right. Make sure it's in time and locks up like it should. The .44 is a heavy recoiling cartridge, although it might look O.K. cosmetically, internals might be shot, given it's age.
Hawes was the U.S. importer/distributor, they were located in Calli, and in business from the late 60's late 70's time frame. Given that the revolver has to at least 30 years old, and Sauer quit making them years ago, parts might be hard to find if the internals need replacing.0 -
