Ithaca NID choke stamp

I just picked up a Ithaca NID and was wondering if anybody could tell me if one barrel is stamped with a 2 and the other one is stamped with a 0,what's the barrels choked for?
Does anybody have a chart or could just tell what each number means as a choke?

  Hello Weddy, The Ithaca NID's used 0 through 4 to mark the choke indications. As I recall 0 is no restriction (cylinder) and 4 would be full. 2 would be most likely close to improved/modified.
  
  Having said that there is nothing like having the chokes measured especially those marked full chokes. Many of them were opened up a bit by their owners over the years.
  
  Sounds like a nice upland bird set up.

  0 is cylinder and 2 is modified. I have never seen a 0 marked gun but they were made and very low numbers. If I were to find one it would hold a premium in my opinion. The most common are full and full and modified and full.

  I found this old thread regarding choke markings. Thought I'd share a photo of this one as it seems uncommon.
  Its in the middle of a restore so its kind of ugly. Its on a 12 ga Ithaca flues field grade from 1921. 30" barrels.

  The answers are right on about the choke indications but if you run into a NID with both barrels marked 4 or 2/4 you may want to measure the chokes to make sure they haven't been changed. I have a NID marked 2/4 and both barrels have been opened up to Cylinder or close to Cylinder.
