Browning BL-22

I came across a bl-22 non checked wood with a nickel plated receiver, mag tube, trigger and rear barrel ring. The wood does seem to be extra fancy. Serial #20B43xxx. It doesn't look to be refinished but I don,t know for sure. Is it something that Browning may have done. Does anyone know what year is was made? Thank you for any help.

  I have a weak ejector spring on this gun. The gun has been at the gunsmith over 3 months. How difficult is it to replace the spring? Can you walk me through this? Where can I buy a spring? Thanks in advance for your help!

  You can get a spring from Browning. Also a take down manual.

  Great lever gun you have there! I'd go pick my gun up. Try working the lever smarter so it ejects. I've had fte's when I work the lever gently so I now rack it hard and it ejects fine. Make sure you have no crud build-up in the recess for the spring and around the ejector so it moves out and in freely.

  Call Browing at 800-322-4626 ad talk to them about your problem.
  Like Its said try to work the lever a little harder. I had to do that with mine.
