springfield M6 scout

I have a Springfield M6 Scout in Camo. Does anyone know what it is worth. I know they didnt make very many in the camo pattern

    Picked up a Springfield M6 scout recently, gun is so ugly it almost starts to look good. Anyway, it seems to have not been make in the Czech Republic as there are no CZ marks on the gun at all. I've heard that early M6's were made in the U.S.A but can't find any info about it's history or what it's worth. Mine is a .22 mag, not .22LR or .22 hornet. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Speaking only of the ones made for sale to civies, the early ones were without the trigger guard like the originals. The later ones had the trigger guard. Springfield I believe had CZ turn these guns out for them.

    do you have any pics to post. I have a guy offering a trade for on one of these for one of my guns but dont know how they look or what there worth.

    Sorry I don't have any pics, my workplace would have beat me senseless if I were caught using valuable work time uploading pics, I can barely get away with this. My M6 scout does not have a trigger guard at all and from my inspection never did. I have also not seen that many in .22 mag either. They are super guns though and very durable, always gets questions at the range about it. Thanks for the replies.

    thanks for the links to the articles, it was good reading. I'll certainly hang on to the rifle it's just a good rifle to have around, it's unique as hell.

    glade you check out the place, hope it helped out a little.
    I checked one of my books when I got home and found it listed,
    the older ones did not have the guards on them.
    did see were Springfield had them inported but It did not say when they started importing them,

    Yeah this is a great resource for finding info, it's been a big help. Cool to meet you on Sat. I'll be up there again soon, maybe bring the Springfield M6.

    need help on finding more info?

    i'm new to forum, so forgive me if i'm not up-to-speed...

    my family has an "Ithaca Gun Co., Inc., Ithaca, N.Y.," U.S.A.F. Property, Rifle-Shotgun Survival Cal. .22/.410 M6. i've googled as much info as i can, but still don't have a good idea where to get hard facts on this gun...

    i've only learned that because the barrel length is only 14.5" that it's considered a class III weapon; but if i wanted to find the complete history and value of it where would i look?

    thank you for any assistance i can get on this!
