Remington Rlimfire Experts?

This one is very specific. Remington made a variety of 121s in smooth bore. From what I could flind there were five variations from smooth bore, routledge bore and skeettrap bore. I can't seem to find specific information. The one in question is marked "smooth bore" and has a 25" barrel and made in 1949. This would seem to make it a skeettrap. My reasearch indicates that these were made to Loewi specs but I don't know what these specs might be. Anyone have any information.
