I acquired a Browning Citori 12g "special edition sporting clays". does anyone know what it is worth, and what is so special about it. Thanks

  Ran across a Browning Citori 'Special Steel' edition, it is all blue with moderate engraving, and it has a 3 1/2" chamber, stock and metal in 95% condition. I haven't seen many of these and he wants $650 for it, is it a taker?

  That's such a broad question that's it's tuff to be accurate.
  
  I show a listing for a "special sporting" as this:
  Similar to the sporting model but fitted with the 2 3/4" chamber and choice of 28", 30", or 32" barrels. Barrels are ported and fitted with a high post rib, optional adjustable comb.
  
  2008 price Grade 1:
  NIB= $1150
  Exc.= $900
  Good = $600
  
  I would add about 20% to that number with the price of guns lately.
  
  This may not be your gun since there are so many Citori's, but it's the closest I could find.
