Milled vs Stamped Receivers

Please educate me on the difference between a milled reciever and a stamped receiver.
Example: Arsenal SAM 7 Milled gets $2K
Arsenal SAIGA Stamped (Russia) gets less.

What makes the milled receiver more valuable?

    In general milled parts cost more to manufacture than stamped parts.

    Milled receiver AKs are a little more scarce, hence more collectible.

    That's why they cost more.

    As to whether or not they are really better is debatable.

    hello Slimzim and welcome to the forums,
    unfortunately those links were poor examples due in part because of all the nonsense smart ass comments, yes that happens here sometimes when peoples inflated egos get out of hand. anyway here are a couple links that should help answer your questions.

    the only reason that they were poor examples, like i already said, was because other members with inflated egos chose to be smart asses and that is why i provided the other links.

    I used to own a milled Bulgarian SLR 95MB, didn't see any accuracy difference between it and any of my other stamped AK's.
