Parker brothers shotgun questions
I HAVE NO PICTURES
I have a chance to buy a VH parker with a 150k serial number
the barrels are perfect inside and worn on the outside like the gun rode in a gun rack. the receiver has 60% of the original case colors and the wood is 70% with a tiny crack starting at the upper tang and some kind of an aftermarket (age appropriate) butt pad. the pistol grip cap remains intact. the lock up is tight and there is no pitting rust or corrosion on the chotgun at all.
it si double triggered, and has extractors with a tang safety. it has the narrow forearm with the egraved metal around the forearm latch, it has a silver tip on the foreend.
the right barrel does not cock or fire (front trigger)
Are they hard or expensive to fix?
I would like to use the gun, I love shooting old doubles for pheasant but I especially love hauling them out at the trap range...
Im thinking about 600 as is if the repairs can be done for not too much money...am I out of line? I see restored VH reach $1500-2000
